Stanford University

I had the incredible opportunity to attend courses at the prestigious Stanford University. In this blog post, I’d like to share my experiences with the classes and the campus.

During my year in the United States, I had the chance to attend Stanford University. It was a truly enriching and unforgettable experience. I chose to earn my credits at this prestigious institution. It is located in Palo Alto and rivals Ivy League schools. Stanford’s campus is just 36 minutes from San Francisco. It is only 25 minutes from Hillsborough, the charming town where I lived. Overall, this experience broadened my academic horizons. It also let me immerse myself in a unique and inspiring environment.

My course

My course was titled “Business Presence: Face-to-Face Communication for Effectiveness” and spanned four months, from April to June. Juliet Erickson, a highly experienced and respected leader, taught the class. Being part of the Stanford campus community for that period was an amazing experience. Classes took place every Monday evening from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. This gave the week a special rhythm. Studying there almost felt like a vacation, thanks to the beautiful surroundings. The campus is truly a dream. Moreover, it is lined with palm trees and bathed in sunshine almost year-round, which creates an inspiring and uplifting atmosphere to learn in.
