Vanilla crescents are my absolute favorite biscuits in the run-up to Christmas. Here I would like to give you a classic recipe:
Ingredients dough:
- 500g flour
- 160g icing sugar
- 400g butter
- 200g walnuts
- 2 packets of vanilla sugar
Ingredients for turning:
- 2 pack of vanilla sugar
- 5 tbsp powdered sugar
Preparation:
- First mix all the ingredients for the dough.
- Then wrap the dough in cling film and let it rest for about 1-2 hours.
- After that form vanilla crescents and bake in the oven at approx. 180° for approx. 10-15 minutes. Finally, turn the still hot vanilla crescents in vanilla sugar and you’re done. 🙂
