One weekend at Yosemite National Park
A few days before the weekend I asked other US friends if they wanna check out the National Park. It is only a few hours away from San Francisco, the city where we all lived. We, Cathrine from Denmark, and Lena and Jasmin from Germany, decided to embark on an unforgettable road trip. After picking up our rental car at Fox Rent a Car for just $40 per day, our adventure began on a Saturday morning. After a scenic drive, complete with a delicious stop at In-N-Out Burger, we arrived at the stunning National Park. We spent our weekend exploring the area’s natural beauty, from tranquil lakeside strolls to exhilarating mountain hikes, making memories that will last a lifetime.
During our trip, we were lucky enough to spot some incredible wildlife, including black bears, mule deer and a variety of colorful birds like the Western Bluebird.
As we soaked in the beauty around us, we realized that this trip wasn’t just about the destination. It was about the shared memories, the laughter, and the quiet moments of awe. It was a weekend that none of us would ever forget – a true escape into the wild.

If this post has convinced you to visit Yosemite National Park, then start planning your unforgettable trip today! Pro tip: Early mornings offer the best views and fewer crowds, so set your alarm for a magical sunrise experience.
